• Begin with the tripod – unhook clip around legs if needed
• Use foot to bull and widen legs
• Un tighten the screws or clips at the bottom of the legs
• Holding the onto the stand, lift upward and retighten to desired height
• Repeat with next leg level
• Slide the shoe horn of the camera into stand and tighten screw on the side of stand
• Adjust level, hand bar and movement if needed by unscrewing, moving and tightening
• Now setting up the camera – Remove the lense cover
• Remove back of camera and slide in battery or the mains adaptor
• If using the mains adaptor, make sure the adaptor is plugged into the smaller lead, which is then plugged into the battery charger pack
• Next turn on the camera to A for automatic on the right hand side dial, open the tape slot and insert tape
• Open viewing screen by unlocking it
• Record and rewind etc. using buttons on top of mic, or recording using viewing screen and record button on left hand side of camera
• Begin with the microphone, insert a battery into the slot, then connect to the main microphone piece
• Remove the microphone stand from the windshield system, un tighten small black screws underneath if needed.
• Attach microphone into rubber clips to secure it, re slide into windshield system and tighten screws
• Plug smaller xlr lead into the back of the microphone and make sure the larger lead fits into the small slot in the bottom of the windshield system.
• Plug larger xlr lead into camera lead
• Attach windshield system end pieces, make sure the black semi circles are aligned with each other around the rims of the connecting parts
• Unfasten black and red screw on microphone holder, adjust the holders end to a vertical angle and refasten
• Assemble boom pole by unscrewing black screws and pull the poles sections upwards, them refasten, adjust this to desired height
• Screw top of boom pole into the bottom of the microphone holder end
